Job Description
The Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Research Associate (Nephrology, Dermatology, Infectious Diseases, Pulmonology & Cardiology), Department of Medicine.
Responsibilities:
The appointee will be responsible to:
ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of sample recruitment and data collection activities
monitor and collaborateresearch activities at all field sites
visit field sites for trouble shooting
work with AKU collection points for patient samples
maintain data quality control, conduct data management and data analysis as per study objectives
submit financial reports on a timely basis
assist in preparing manuscripts and abstracts for publication and presentation as required by investigators, administrators and funding agencies.
Requirements:
Applicants should have:
MBBS with some relevant research experience
good management and organizational skills
working knowledge of MS Office, statistical analysis (SPSS), reference management (EndNote), literature research (Pubmed, internet)
good interpersonal skills and communication skills, including spoken and written English.
